1. Adult Supervision & Caregiver Responsibility

The booking parent/guardian is responsible for ensuring that adequate adult supervision is provided for all children attending the party. A caregiver must be present and actively supervising each child for the duration of the session. Lumino Craft's facilitator is responsible for leading and facilitating the experience — they are not solely responsible for supervising all children in attendance. Unsupervised children will not be permitted to participate.

2. Venue Responsibility

As Lumino Craft travels to your chosen location, the client is responsible for ensuring the venue is safe, accessible, clean, and appropriate for the chosen mess level prior to our arrival. This includes ensuring adequate space, appropriate flooring or outdoor area, and access to water if required. For Immersive Mess parties, the client must provide an outdoor space or suitable indoor setup with tarp laid before the session begins. Lumino Craft reserves the right to modify or reduce the mess experience if the venue is not adequately prepared, without refund of the difference.

3. Health, Allergies & Special Needs

You agree to inform Lumino Craft in advance of any allergies (including to food, paint, glue, latex, or natural materials), medical conditions, sensory needs, or other information relevant to any child attending. Lumino Craft is not able to administer prescription medication beyond basic first aid measures unless agreed in writing. It is the host's responsibility to share this information with all attending families prior to the event.

4. Acknowledgement of Risks

Activities may include baby-safe paints, natural materials, textured surfaces, water, foam, and soft craft tools. Even with appropriate supervision, participation may involve inherent risks such as:

• skin contact with craft materials that may cause irritation or allergic reactions
• mouthing or contact with sensory materials (all materials are non-toxic and baby-safe)
• slips, trips, or falls — particularly during Immersive Mess activities involving water
• emotional upset or overstimulation in a group setting

You accept these ordinary risks on behalf of all children attending and confirm you have informed all attending families of these risks.

5. Behaviour & Session Management

Lumino Craft aims to provide a calm, positive, and sensory-friendly experience for all children. If a child becomes significantly distressed or the group environment becomes unsafe, Lumino Craft may suggest adjustments or end the activity early if necessary. No refunds will be provided if a session ends early due to non-disclosure of significant needs or inadequate venue preparation.

6. Illness Policy

Children who are ill (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious illness, or COVID-like symptoms) must not attend. Lumino Craft reserves the right to decline to proceed with the session if a child appears unwell on the day. In such cases, a partial credit may be offered at Lumino Craft's discretion.

7. Cancellation & Deposit Policy

Full credit is issued for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance (no expiry). Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. Any deposit paid is non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled date with at least 7 days' notice. Lumino Craft reserves the right to cancel due to facilitator illness or emergency, in which case a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

8. Release & Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the booking parent/guardian agrees — on behalf of all attending families — not to hold Lumino Craft (Play N Party Inc.), its owners, employees, contractors, or volunteers liable for minor injuries or damages arising from ordinary risks, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct. I understand that in Canada, parental waivers for minors may have legal limits and may not fully prevent a child from bringing a future claim in all circumstances.

9. Acknowledgement

By submitting this booking, I confirm that I have read and agree to all terms above, that I have the authority to book on behalf of all attending families, and that all information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
