A 3-week themed series designed for children 3–5 and their grown-ups 🌟
Lumino Play Lab is a 3-week themed series where children spend 60 minutes exploring, creating, and playing alongside their parent or caregiver — inside a rich, themed world designed just for little minds.
Each session weaves together sensory bin exploration, a collaborative creative activity, and a take-home art piece — all within a 3-week themed world that changes each series.
And woven invisibly through every moment? Pre-math and pre-literacy skills — sorting, patterning, counting, storytelling, vocabulary, and sequencing — embedded in play, not worksheets. You'll watch your child develop without them even knowing it's happening. 🧠✨

Every session is designed to practise sharing, turn-taking, reading emotions, and solving problems together — the social foundation children need most at this age. 💛
Rich, non-taste-safe sensory bins with kinetic sand, slime, foam and more — designed for the hands-on curiosity of 3–5 year olds. 🖐️
Open-ended loose parts play and a dedicated take-home craft moment — child-led, no templates, no right answers. 🌈

💛 What Your Child Is Building
Every session is rooted in early childhood development — here's what's quietly happening while they explore
Sorting loose parts by colour and size, making patterns, comparing quantities, and building spatial reasoning — all through open-ended play.
Storytelling, vocabulary building, sequencing (first, then, last), and mark-making — the foundations of reading and writing, through imagination.
Negotiating, sharing materials, co-creating with the group — collaborative activities build the social skills that matter most in early childhood.
No right answers, no templates. Child-led exploration builds intrinsic confidence — the kind that comes from trusting your own ideas.
This isn't a drop-off class — parents participate alongside their child, following the child's lead. You'll leave knowing exactly how your child thinks, plays, and grows. Our facilitator narrates the developmental story quietly to you as it unfolds in real time.

The sensory bin is open and waiting the moment families walk in. No instruction, no waiting — children go straight to exploring at their own pace while parents settle in alongside them.
The heart of the session. The whole group works together on a shared themed experience — building, making, arranging, or creating something together with loose parts and creative materials. Parents participate alongside, following their child's lead. Open-ended, child-directed, no right answers. You circulate and quietly narrate the developmental story to parents in real time.
A focused making moment tied to the theme — simple enough to finish in the session, meaningful enough to carry out the door. Parents participate alongside. The result is something your child made with their own hands and ideas.
Children share what they made — one word, a point, showing their piece. Cleanup becomes part of the ritual, caring for the world together. A closing song or gesture ends every session the same way. Same every week, all series. 💛
🌿 A Note for Caregivers
This isn't a drop-off program. You're in the world with your child — following their lead, playing alongside them, watching them make choices, solve problems, and surprise you.
And as they play, we narrate the developmental story to you — quietly, in real time. You'll leave understanding your child in a new way, with language to take home and use all week.
You'll also leave knowing other families. A 3-week series builds real community. Same kids, same parents, same world — that's where friendships actually form. 🌿

📋 Booking Policy
Sessions are booked individually or as part of a 2 or 3-session pass — choose what works best for your family's rhythm this month. 🌸
Booking: Sessions are booked in advance so we can prepare thoughtfully for each family. We keep our groups small, with 8–10 families per session, to create a calm, comfortable experience for little ones.
Passes: 2 and 3-session passes are valid for the calendar month in which they are purchased and are intended to be used within that month.
Need to change your plans? We completely understand — life with little ones can be unpredictable. 💛 If you need to cancel a booked session, please give us 24+ hours' notice whenever possible. We'll be happy to help you find another session at a Lumino Craft location during the same month, subject to availability.
If you're unable to find a make-up time that works for your family, we'll do our best to accommodate you where possible. Since each session has a limited number of spots and your place is reserved especially for your family, we may not always be able to carry the session forward or offer a credit when a suitable make-up isn't available.
For cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, we're generally unable to guarantee a make-up, as there may not be enough time to offer the spot to another family. We truly appreciate your understanding. 💛
Feeling Unwell? 🌿 Please don't worry about coming if your baby or caregiver isn't feeling well. Your family's wellbeing comes first. Just let us know as soon as you're able, and we'll do our best to help you find a make-up session that works for you.
Our goal is simply to keep things fair for all families while giving everyone a little flexibility when life happens. Thank you for helping us create a calm and welcoming space for our little ones. 🌸
